Big Clean-up Day Event

Times: Coffee and light snacks at 8:30 am / Clean-Up Event starts at 9:00 am / Lunch at 11:30

Where:  The meeting place will be the parking lot across the street from the Startex Post Office, 21 North Main Street, Startex, S.C. 29377

Know a Youth Group, Scouts or Church that would like to help? or Know anyone that needs Community Service Hours? Please send them our way! We will be focusing on the “Curb Appeal” of the Main Street sidewalks. Also, down some of the side streets to assist with storm damage that some of the elder citizens couldn’t remove. We will address those needs as we can with the volunteers on hand. Some needs such as tree cutting, log removal or large brush removal may need professional assistance. If you have weed-eaters, chain saws, brush cutters, pressure washers or other lawn type equipment, please bring it along with you. Also needed are pick-up trucks and dump trailers to carry trash, brush and unwanted items to our dumpster. Don’t forget to bring along your gloves and water for hydration.

Some folks can’t physically get out and work like they once could….However, we need you there to help encourage us and cheer us on. It means a lot to have your support behind our efforts. We will be serving Free Lunch for All. Lunch will be served at Tucapau Baptist Family Life Center, 4 Chestnut Street, Startex, SC 29377. Tell your friends, tell your neighbors…Please Share… Looking forward to seeing everyone there!!
